HMS SAC Nominations (One Parent)

HMS is currently asking for nominations for a Parent to serve on our School Advisory Council (SAC) for the 2018.2019 School Year. We currently are seeking to fill one vacancy for parents on our SAC. This is to replace a parent that is no longer able to serve.

The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a team of people representing various segments of the community – parents, teachers, students, administrators, support staff, business/industry people and other interested community members.

The purpose of the SAC is to assist in the preparation and evaluation (developing and evaluating) of the school improvement plan and to assist the principal with the annual school budget.

The SAC committee meets 5 times a year.

Parents serve a two-year term on the HMS SAC.

If you would like to nominate a Parent member to fill the vacancy that we currently have (this includes you if you qualify), please visit the link below. Thank you!

Nominations will remain open, now, through January 25. Voting will occur the following week if necessary.
