The Controlled Open Enrollment transfer period for Santa Rosa County will begin on April 12th and go through May 27th. Beginning April 12th you can access the Transfer Form, the 19-20 School Choice Plan and the Controlled Open Enrollment Capacity Chart on our school district’s website. Effective immediately, the front entrance will no longer be open during the school day. When you approach the front entrance, you will need to push a button located to the right side of the entryway next to the mounted camera. You will be greeted by an office attendant, asked to present a photo ID to the camera, and state the purpose of your visit. Once approved, the door will then be unlocked, and you be permitted access into the building.

Jaguar students and families, we will have a “Back to School Bash” for our 6th grade students, to welcome them to Hobbs. The “Back to School Bash” will be the evening of Friday, August 10, from 6 PM – 8 PM in our cafeteria. The event is free of charge and we will serve refreshments and have activities.
Jaguar students and families, mark your calendars for schedule pick-up! 7th and 8th grade schedule pick-up will be on Thursday, August 9, from 12 – 2 PM. 6th grade schedule pick-up with be on Friday, August 10, from 12 – 3 PM. Both days, come and go as you wish. Get your schedule, walk your classes, and meet your teachers. We will also have cafeteria staff and bus drivers on campus to answer questions about their services.
